Himesh Reshammiya (born 23 July 1973) is an Indian music director, arranger, playback singer and actor.
Himesh Reshamia was born in Mumbai to Vipin Reshamia and Madhu Reshamia. He originally belongs to Mahuwa village of Bhavnagar district of Gujarat state. He is a well-known musician, singer and actor in the Indian film world. His songs like, 'Tera Suroor', 'Zara Zoom Zoom' and 'Tanahaiyan' have become very popular. 'Aap Ka Suroor' was Himesh Reshammiya's first album as a singer. Himesh Reshammiya has starred in 'Tere Naam', 'Ishq Hai Tumse', 'Kyon Ki', Mainne Pyar Kyun Kiya', 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne', 'Aitaraz', 'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya', 'Hello Brother', 'Dulhan'. He has worked as a music composer in the films Hum Le Jayenge', Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye', 'Kya Dil Ne Kaha', 'Hamraaz' etc. After this he started acting and worked as an actor in films like 'Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story', 'Kurz', 'Radio', 'Kajrare', 'Khiladi 786' etc.
Before becoming a music director, Himesh Reshammiya scored 'Amar.' for Zee TV
Has produced several TV serials including 'Prem' and 'Andaz'. He also composed the title song of both these series. He worked as a judge and moderator in the 5th challenge round with Zee TV. He was victorious in the 2007 series.
Himesh Reshammiya won the Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award for 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' in 2006. Himesh Reshammiya was married to Komal.
