Hemis Monastery is a beautiful place, it has amazing Tibetan style architecture which is very colorful and attractive. Hemis Monastery is divided into two main parts, one part is the assembly hall known as "Dukhang" and the main part is known as "Shongkhang". The walls of the main building are painted pure white. The entrance to the complex is through a large gate that leads to a rectangular courtyard. Hemis Math is open for tourists daily from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The best time to visit Hemis Math is from May to September. .
